As Hianims, we have our feet in two worlds. We are a bridge between The 3 Above and The 3 Below, That in itself is a division and a duality; but, that’s the way hanim consciousness works…

These groups of three’s are referred to as a Complex. And, of course, there are complexes within complexes because ultimately, it is one system, with many complex parts, operating as a whole systemic complexity. The lower three complexes, referred to as the lower triplex, the bridge, the three above, the higher triplex, and the transcendental triplex, are all operative, all the time. It’s just a matter of the framework in which our consciousness is functioning…or, if you will, conditioned, contained, constrained, bound to, limited by and karmicaly restricted. Here we are, stuck on the bridge, with decisions to make about ‘me’ and ‘we.’

And yet, the human kingdom, the consciousness which animates all kingdoms, remains and remains giving rise to myriad forms through arechetypal developmental stages through the eons…..

In family systems therapy, the sphere of influence most addressed is generally the nuclear family, although it could easily expand to extended family members, i.e., grandparents, aunts, uncles…. But, it does not really stop there. Permeating the home environment is the neighborhood, which itself is contained within the community. Family systems therapy often includes these extended spheres as many resources needed to bring about positive changes are contained within the neighborhood and community.

Spheres of influence extend even beyond the community. The city, state, nation and even the global sphere all have their influence on the community, neighborhood, and the home. A single person, at any age, exists within a complex multidimensional field of influences not all of which are conscious. A child of 7 years is significantly influenced by, and at least partially conscious of, the home and neighborhood, but not at all aware of the influence the state, or nation, has upon his/her growing consciousness, even though it is very present and active. As an adult of 56 years, there is much more awareness of the influence of city, state and nation, and even a consciousness of how the global sphere impacts his/her self, as well as how that global sphere influences the nation, state and city. And, at 56, the earlier spheres of home, neighborhood and community, although subconscious, continue to exert a significant influence.

If we refer to the traditional stages of psychosocial development, popularized by Eric Erikson, and couple those stages to these spheres of influence, it presents an interesting view of how our developing consciousness can parallel these spheres. In the chart below, the developmental stages are linked to the ever-larger spheres of influence.

Of course, even as an infant, we are influenced by the higher spheres; but, we are not conscious of that. As we mature, we become more conscious of, and involved in, the larger more encompassing spheres of influence. Ideally, we mature from being a citizen of the neighborhood, to a citizen of the global community – a citizen of the world.

But, that aside, it appears that God was bound by a seven day work week, the last day of which was rest;  how relaxing.  Or, is it that, as suggested in previous posts, and most likely suggested in occult mystical teachings, that 7 represents a developmental archetype, a blueprint. There are 7 major stages or phases of development, of manifestation, of creation.   As a developmental archetype, we can then postulate that our school of life has 7 Lessons learned repeatedly ever more thoroughly through 7 Grades of 7 Classrooms. Or, if you prefer….our school of life has 7 Chores, repeatedly completed, in ever more thorough degrees,  over 7 Hours of 7 Days. Its about the archetypal structure…..

We can use this archetype to understand developmental stages of psyche-socio “spheres of influence” – which develops, or expands, beyond the personal to include the neighborhood, the community, the city, state, nation and globe. The 7 spheres of influence….

For the first 7 years of life, the neighborhood, of which the home is an integral part,  forms the content of influence….but, after that….the community…and then the city…..state, nation…..and, eventually, global influence is the dominant theme in patterns of living. Of course, the larger, broader,  more expansive spheres of influence contains the smaller, more narrow,  less expansive spheres of influence. We are all contained within, and influenced by, the national, and global, spheres, at whatever level they might be operating.

The personal sphere is kind of like Classroom #1. The global sphere is kind of like Classroom #7.  The national sphere is kind of like Classroom #6, but the grade level in that classroom could be 1, and the lesson could be 3:  a person learning to identify with and be an integral part of the community , during a period of globalization.

It’s a long haul to be a conscious part of global influence….; and it doesn’t end there….solar and galactic influence become 8 and 9…..and then, the whole, all encompassing, cosmic  sphere……

And yet, just as the state is contained within the nation, can even be considered a manifestation of the nation, is an expression of national consciousness like a wave is an expression of the ocean,  so even our personal consciousness is a manifest expression of cosmic consciousness, just as is  galactic, solar, global, national, state, community and neighborhood consciousness.

As Shakespeare’s character Hamlet said…

“There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”

You don’t have to agree with this; just consider what if….

There is a  structure to our psyche-socio development; there are 7 phases, stages, arenas….classrooms…

What if….consciousness manifests and develops itself through experiences in 7 Classrooms-each classroom with 7 Grade Levels and each grade level having 7 Lessons. Whether it is personal consciousness or national consciousness, or solar consciousness, there is a process of ongoing metriculation into the next grades, and the next classrooms, over time.

Time becomes an element to consider; how long are the seven lessons  of the seven grades  in the seven classrooms…..That information is somewhat dependent on Time Consciousness. Personal time consciousness operates within the days to decades framework. But, national consciousness can operate within decades to centuries, and solar consciousness ages to eons.

What if…..our solar consciousnes has just entered 4th Grade in the 5th Classroom, and our national consciousness is about to leave fourth grade and enter 5th Grade,  in the 2nd Classroom – different curriculums for sure, although there are 7 Themes which permeate developmental stages at whatever level it is operating…..

Our personal consciousness is so colored by the national consciousness (and the solar consciousness) that developmental themes at the personal level, to be rightly understood, must include the context of national consciousness.

National Time Consciousness is a calendar kind of thing…..What year is it? According to who?

So, let’s say it’s the year 2012. As a national entity, the age is “20″ and there remains 89 years as a twenty year old. Then a birthday, and then the national consciousness matures from a twenty year old to a twenty one year old in 2101.

Let’s say it’s the year 4056….The national identity is that of a 40 year old, with 45 more years until the forty year old becomes a 41 year old…

Just as a person changes, matures, grows, develops, adjusts, compensates, creates….from when they were 20 years old to when they are 40 years old, so too national identity, national consciousness, was born…grows, develops…..decays, and dies. Through 7 Grades of 7 Classrooms.

Let’s focus on this year: 2009,  a few months from 2010. One year difference. A lot can happen in one year, from the personal consciousness point of view; but, not much happens from the solar consciousness point of view. Some significant developments can occur within the national psyche during a year, but most of the real national changes happen over several years, and decades.

Your an adolescent. No matter how old you are personally, nationally, you, as an integral member of a society that claims itself to be in the year 2009, have a national age, which fits within the schema of psyche-socio developmental stages.  As an integral part of  socio-national  consciousness, you (the national self you, not the personal self you), were born 20 years (centuries) ago; you’re a twenty year old. Everybody in the nation is a 20 year-old. Anybody who says “this is the year 2009″ is an adolescent, from the national self consciousness perspective.  Adolescence.

Well, actually, the twenty year old is in that nebulous dangerous mind altering period, stage, phase, classroom of decaying adolescence and the emergence of early adulthood, the blossoming of which, from the national consciousness point of view,  will take many hundreds of years….if it does not fall ill or die in some invasion,   or become  poisoned or plauged….and morphed into distortions or even the antithesis of its original Logos.

…the natural world.  A deep breath of fresh air,  the sight of a sunset, a sunrise, an expanse of open land, mountains, deserts, canyons and valleys,  a walk amongst the trees, the sound of wind and rain, the smell of herbs, the taste of fruits…..the warmth of the sun on your skin….the touch of a lover…..

Talk therapy doesn’t hold a candle to the healing power of consciousness using the senses to experience and appreciate the natural world.
