The Pentagon

Each of the single digit numbers, 0-9, has a corresponding shape. The pentagon, obviously, is the shape used to visually represent the theme of level, stage, grade, classroom, lesson,…5.

Some of the word labels associated with level five are: “belonging,” “intimacy” and “engagement.” These themes are not absent in previous lessons, grades and classrooms, they are just not the dominant themes and, indeed, cannot really be fully expressed without some foundation on the previous developments.

On A Bridge: The Two Of Us

Individuality requires division and duality, a “self” and a “not-self” or an “I” and a “You.” For the sake of word play, let’s refer to “You” as “U.”

Now we have I and U, the self and that which is perceived as ‘not-self,’ on the bridge, often in conflict. Sometimes in harmony. On the bridge, there are two basic courses of action I take when with U. One can be characterized as an Attachment theme: “wherever u-go, i-go.” And then there is the Separation theme: “i-go my way and u-go your way.”

Attachment and separation arise from Individuality. Attachment and separation are 4^th level, stage, grade, classroom, school, kingdom themes. Everybody deals with them, to varying degrees, throughout the lifespan. Attachment. Separation.

Collectivity

The antithesis of individuality is, to the individual consciousness, death. Identity, another Stage 4 theme, is threatened when individuality even begins to hint at dissolving into something larger, more comprehensive, more complete, and far less differentiated.

As Hianims, we have our feet in two worlds. We are a bridge between The 3 Above and The 3 Below, That in itself is a division and a duality; but, that’s the way hanim consciousness works…

These groups of three’s are referred to as a Complex. And, of course, there are complexes within complexes because ultimately, it is one system, with many complex parts, operating as a whole systemic complexity. The lower three complexes, referred to as the lower triplex, the bridge, the three above, the higher triplex, and the transcendental triplex, are all operative, all the time. It’s just a matter of the framework in which our consciousness is functioning…or, if you will, conditioned, contained, constrained, bound to, limited by and karmicaly restricted. Here we are, stuck on the bridge, with decisions to make about ‘me’ and ‘we.’

In Division & Duality

Hianims fabricate; psyche-logically i.e., in the psyche, which has its own kind of logic. The psychelogical fabrications we create are in such a high animated fashion that the fabrications appear as real and solid. Our most fundamental fabrication is a “self” an “I” which necessitates the existence of a dualistic counterpart, a “not-self” or “not-I.” The fabrication of this duality, the “I” and the “not-I” is the basis of individuality, i.e., in division and duality.

Individuality is one of the over-arching themes in the 4^th School, and the 4^th Classroom, and 4^th Grade, and in lesson four. Hianims comprise the 4^th Kingdom, so you can bet Individuality (and it’s dualistic counterpart, Collectivity) can be observed in the activities of people and nations.

Our Human School

Based on the previously posted information, let’s continue to pretend that the Human Campus has Seven Schools each of which contain Seven Classrooms consisting of Seven Grades in which Seven Lessons are learned. These lessons are broad over-arching themes that all humans, individually and collectively, deal with, repeatedly. Occult evolutionary theory suggests that the human race, as a kingdom inhabited with ‘beings,”ever matriculating higher, is in the 4^th School, 5th Classroom, 4^th Grade.

Some of the word themes applicable at the 4^th complex is “individuality,” “achievement,” identity” and “esteem.” From toddlers to senior citizens, these psyche-logical themes manifest in a variety of behaviors and interactions to varying degrees, throughout the lifespan.

The Human Kingdom

The human kingdom is situated at stage 4 and all the archetypal themes relevant to that stage of development apply to us as humans on a broad general basis. The developmental tasks, needs motivations and paths for humans apply to all of us. Of course, within that human kingdom, which we might call 4th Grade, there are 7 classrooms i.e., developmental stages, through which we, as humans, metriculate.

The Kingdoms Of Nature

Occult evolutionary theory suggests that the humans comprise a kingdom within itself. One of the key demarcations between animals and humans is the psyche-logical animation. Humans are very highly psyche-logically animated. Animals are low animated in psyche. So, for sake of word play, the human kingdom is referred to as the high animated, i.e., Hianim, Kingdom, and we humans, hianims.

The Hianim Kingdom is the bridge between the lower 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd complexes, animals (loanims), plants and minerals, and the higher 5^th, 6^th and 7^th complexes, etherials, angels and celestials.

Let’s pretend that there are higher spheres of consciousness, that late adulthood is not the end of developmental consciousness. Where would we go after late adulthood? What word labels can we use to describe these higher developmental stages….Consider “noviceate,” “master” and “guide.”

The Developmental Archetype

Although 7 is a significant symbolic number, and all the previous posts regarding developmental stages refers to 7 stages, there are, in fact, 9…and even a tenth if we consider all nine as a whole system, represented by the all encompassing place holder, 0.

In a complete developmental schemata, we need to include 8, 9 and 0. So, let’s go back to the stages and spheres of influence and add the 8, 9 and 0….

Lucky Seven

The symbology of 7 goes well beyond “the seven days of creation” or “the seven deadly sins” (countered, of course, with the seven virtues) or even “seven days a week.” Most religions are loaded with statements about seven this or seven that. Classic novels and motion pictures have been created drawing on the symbology of 7, such as the American Western motion picture The Magnificent Seven, or the earlier Japanese predecessor The Seven Samurai. There is a long standing tradition of knowledge which lays out seven energy centers along the body’s spinal column, referred to as “chakras” and there are seven visible colors of the rainbow. There are seven “stellar objects” within our solar system visible to the naked eye (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn). Uranus, Neptune and Pluto represent the numbers 8, 9, 0, and bridge the finite with infinity. For, indeed, once one reaches nine, and with the place holder resource, there are no limits.

Seven is considered to be a “lucky” number in many cultures, whereas other numbers may have mystical, magical, esoteric, occult or taboo meanings…. It has been said that “the gods speak with numbers while men speak with letters.” Each of the single digit numbers, including the “place holder” zero, has, so to speak, its own spirit. Unlike language and words, numbers are universal across all cultures and ages. The sound and symbols used to represent “seven” may be different throughout the world, but the numerical concept of “7” is “7” everywhere.
